Following a pick-up at your hotel, this tour begins with our guide introducing you to your tour companion, a horse handpicked for you by our experts. Afterward, you’ll enjoy a horseback ride across our wonderful forest trails which hold a variety of spectacular flora and fauna that will delight your eyes and amaze you. You will see birds, plants, and vistas that have the power of relaxing all of your senses, the fresh breeze will remind you of how important it is to reconnect with your roots.
Along the route, you will visit Vista Arenal, the highest of the suspension bridges in the Mistico Park. Then, you’ll resume your travels up to a lookout with a view of Arenal Lake and part of the Tilaran Mountain Range. And this is only the beginning of a wonderful day at Mistico Park. A delicious lunch prepared with quality ingredients that will fill your palate with the flavor of Costa Rican cuisine awaits you at our restaurant. You’ll have a chance to enjoy it before setting off on the next adventure: a Natural History Tour of the hanging bridges.
During the Natural History Tour, you’ll visit six wonderful suspension bridges, a waterfall, a beautiful hummingbird garden, and a tunnel. In the company of your nature guide, who will offer you all of their knowledge, you will enjoy an oxygenating hike. Once the tour is finished, our transport will take you back to your hotel, to put an end to a day filled with authentic natural experiences at the Mistico Park.

- This tour requires a minimum of 2 people to run. Please contact us to inquire about tour availability if your travel group is comprised of less than the tour operator’s required minimum number of participants.
- The use of long pants and fully closed shoes, such as tennis shoes, is required. The use of sandals or others open shoes, such as Keen footwear with slits, is not allowed.
Minimum/maximum age/weight/height/other requirements
- Children must be at least 5 years old to participate in this tour.
- Children must be at least 8 years old to ride their own horse; children ages 5-7 must share a horse with a guide.
- The maximum weight to participate in this tour is 270 lbs.
What to bring for tour participation
