Take a break from your time in the Cloud Forest and spend the day visiting the popular Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. Your guide will pick you up from your Monteverde hotel and take you through the mountains to Guanacaste and the Tenorio River.

Once you’re at the river put-in, your guide will fit you with your rafting gear and give you a brief safety talk. You’ll be ready to hit the rapids and start paddling! There are over 20 thrilling rapids on this class 3-4 rafting route, including a 12-foot drop known as Cascabel Falls! You’ll face them all fearlessly as your guide steers the raft and calls out instructions. Finish your rafting tour with your heart pumping and your eyes dancing! Then, you’ll head over to our Route One restaurant to change your clothes and enjoy a delicious Costa Rican meal before returning to Monteverde.
