Take a break from your time in the Cloud Forest and spend the day visiting the popular Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. Your guide will pick you up from your Monteverde hotel and take you the Tenorio River. You’ll spend a peaceful morning on the river as your guide steers the raft and points out all of the exotic finds in the area, including birds, insects, vegetation, and even monkeys and crocodiles! This is a perfect river activity for families and nature lovers.

When you’ve finished your safari float nature tour, you’ll head over to our Route One restaurant to enjoy a delicious Costa Rican meal. Then, you’ll have a chance to kick up your feet in our air-conditioned van and enjoy free wifi on the way back to Monteverde.

  • This tour requires a minimum of 2 people to run. Please contact us to inquire about tour availability if your travel group is comprised of less than the tour operator’s required minimum number of participants.

Minimum/maximum age/weight/height/other requirements

  • Children must be at least 6 years old to participate.
  • It is recommended that individuals older than 85 years should not participate in this tour.
