The Springs Resort / Club Rio has decided not to offer the Club Rio Multi-Adventure Package for the 2024 season, which begins on December 16th, 2023. This means that the last possible day to experience the Club Rio Multi-Adventure Package is December 15th, 2023. The Springs Resort Hot Springs Pass + Extra Free Day will remain available throughout the 2024 season.
The Club Rio Outdoor Center is located directly below our Springs Resort along our beautiful stretch of Arenal River frontage. This is a must-see amenity of The Springs Resort and Spa where we offer the best soft adventure activities in Costa Rica including Inflatable River Kayaking, River Tubing, Horseback Tours, a Rock-Climbing Wall, Hot Springs, Swimming, and a Wildlife Preserve for rescued animals. Our full-service restaurant and bar, Rancho Club Rio, is open for lunch and beverages during the day and is a great place to relax surrounded by the river, rainforest, and hot springs. At night, this area transforms into a spectacular venue for groups/events. Nowhere else in Arenal can you experience all of these activities in one day at one location.
As a special promotion, a second consecutive day of Springs Resort Hot Springs access is included with this Club Rio Multi-Adventure Package, which means you can visit and enjoy the pools and hot springs at the Springs Resort for two straight days for the price of one. The tours/activities and lunch that are included with the Club Rio Multi-Adventure Package must be experienced on the first day of your optional two-day visit. The second consecutive day (if desired) includes access to the Springs Resort Hot Springs, but no tours/activities or meals. You’re welcome to purchase food on-site from one of the resort’s restaurants if you wish.
Your Club Rio Multi-Adventure Package includes Hot Springs (with optional free second consecutive day), an Authentic Costa Rican Lunch at Rancho Club Rio, Hiking Trails, River Pools, and your choice of two of the following tours/activities:
- Inflatable Kayaking
- River Tubing
- Horseback Riding
- Climbing Wall
- Wildlife Sanctuary Tour
Note: You must select which two activities you would like to participate in at the time you reserve the tour (activity changes at a later date are accepted, provided tour availability allows for the change). You can select any combination of two activities, provided any children in your group are accompanied by an adult. For example, if you are a family of 4 people (2 adults and 2 children), all 4 people can participate in the wildlife sanctuary tour, 1 adult and 1 child can participate in the river tubing tour, and 1 adult and 1 child can participate in the horseback riding tour. Please clearly indicate which adults (and children, if applicable) would like to participate in which two activities when you place your order.
How tour timing works for the Club Rio Multi-Adventure Package
The Springs Resort coordinates each day’s schedule according to the specific adventure/nature activities you choose to participate in. When you place your order, you will receive a confirmation with the time that you must arrive at the reception of the Springs Resort and the order of your activities. You may choose to arrive at the resort earlier than your scheduled arrival time, and when you are finished with your activities at Club Rio Outdoor Center, you may choose to stay on-site and enjoy the hot springs and restaurants at the Springs Resort. If you’re not able to spend the entire day at the Springs Resort / Club Rio, please let us know the earliest time you’re able to arrive at the resort and the latest time you’re able to stay at the resort, and we’ll check with the Springs Resort to see if it’s possible to coordinate your chosen adventure/nature tours within that timeframe.
