Canopy Tour information:

Leap from the treetops and witness the wonder and awe of the jungle canopy in this thrilling adventure! Follow our guides as they take you high into the forest, where you will soar from platform to platform on our ecofriendly cables. Our ziplines are unique to the area, combining all of the following features into our innovative system:

• Double Cabled Lines – The only system of its kind in the Manuel Antonio/Quepos area
• Long Cables – More line time for more vacation fun
• Safety Features – All lines and equipment are in adherence with international safety standards
• Automatic Braking System – Hands-free braking allows for more enjoyment while riding

What to Expect

Once you book your tour, our office will let you know what time our vans will pick you from your hotel. As soon as all guests are onboard the van, there will be a quick stop to our office in Quepos to fill out the necessary paperwork and then your adventure begins! Enjoy the 25-minute drive through an operative African Palm plantation and through the small town of Cerros, which is home to many of the plantation workers. You will cross our famous suspension bridge over the Rio Cañas and enter MidWorld, where you will be escorted to our rancho. Upon arrival, or after your meal, our guides will fit you in your harness and safety equipment, and then begin the safety presentation specifically designed for our double-cabled system. Once everyone is ready to go, our MidWorld trucks will take you up to the cables and the adventure will begin! This tour is approximately 2 ½ hours long, giving all riders ample opportunity to experience and learn about the beautiful landscape and wildlife that this property has to offer. So, sit back, relax, and dive into this exhilarating Costa Rican experience!

ATV Tour information:

Start your engines and go on this amazing jungle adventure! Drive through pristine primary and secondary rainforest alongside the Rio Cañas, with stops by waterfalls and some of our most scenic viewpoints. This is the only ATV tour in the area with fully automatic machines, making it more accessible so more fun can be had. The MidWorld ATV tour features:

• Fully Automatic ATVS –330cc Polaris Trailblazer and 330cc – 350cc Yamaha Grizzly fully automatic machines, for an easier driving experience
• Safety Equipment – Helmets with visors provided, and all vehicles fully serviced
• Single or Double Riders – Feel free to drive solo on our 330cc ATVs, or partner up for a double rider excursion on the 350cc models
• Ages 18+ Can Drive – Kids are allowed to ride with adult driver 18+ years  
• Customizable Tours – Depending on riders’ comfort and ability level, tours can be customized to fit all drivers’ experiences
• Snacks and Water Provided – During your breaks on the tour, you will be provided with fresh fruit and water while enjoying the surrounding jungle and natural swimming pools
• Lunch Included – Enjoy a tradition, homemade Costa Rican lunch
• Transportation Provided – Learn a little more about Costa Rica during a guided tour to and from our park in our air-conditioned tour vans

We recommend long pants, swimwear and comfortable hiking shoes on this tour. There is a short walk down to a waterfall with a natural pool – all clients are given the option to swim at this time, weather permitting, and we highly recommend they do!    

What to Expect

Once you have booked your tour, our office will let you know what time we will pick you up from your hotel. When we have collected all guests, there will be a quick stop at our office to fill out the necessary paperwork and then you’re off! Sit back and enjoy the 25-minute ride to the MidWorld property, where you will drive through a working African Palm Plantation and the small town of Cerros, which is home to many of the workers. Feel free to ask our guides any questions you may have along the way! Upon arrival, you will either be seated for your meal or be directed to your machine – this is dependent upon your scheduled tour time. Once you are at your machine, you will be fitted in your helmet and our guides will go over all of the safety features and operating instructions for your vehicle. After the demonstration, all riders will take a small test run and then go right into the adventure! This tour takes approximately 2 ½ hrs to complete, with nearly 2 full hrs spent driving.

• This tour requires a minimum of 2 people to run. Please contact us to inquire about tour availability if your travel group is comprised of less than the tour operator’s required minimum number of participants.

• Children must be at least 4 years old.
• Individuals must be less than 300lbs.
• ATV drivers must be at least 18 years old and be able to present a valid driver’s license
