My family will be traveling to Costa Rica in October. We are a family of 11, including 3 kids. I am researching van rentals (Hyuandai H1, specifically) to fit our entire party, and am having a bear of a time with navigating car rentals in Costa Rica. I have read about people traveling to Costa Rica and the rental company not having the car that was reserved. Because of our party size, we can’t afford not to have the exact car (in this case, a van) we are reserving.

Any advice on companies to use and companies to avoid?
