  Thanks so much for checking on this! Fortunately, both Los Lagos (La Fortuna) and Banana Azul (Puerto Viejo de Talamanca) are hotels that fall within the normal transportation zones recognized by Exploradores Outdoors (the Pacuare River Rafting Tour operator), so I can confirm that transportation is included and doesn’t require payment of an extra fee.
