I’d like to book the EcoTermales Hot Springs Pass with Dinner but wanted to confirm if you will pick up at Airbnb’s. We’re staying at Apartamentos La Casona.

          Hello Ashley!

Thanks so much for your interest in our discount for the EcoTermales Hot Springs Pass with Dinner!

Yes! Though Apartamentos La Casona is a rental property, fortunately, it is one of the downtown La Fortuna locations where the tour operator can offer pick-ups and drop-offs for free. 🙂

          Pura vida!

I’m also interested in the Sky Trek Canopy Tour (Ziplining), Sky Walk Hanging Bridges Tour, And Sky Tram Aerial Tram Ride. We’ll be staying at Alas y Raices in Santa Elena. Is this within the free pick up area?

                  Hello Ashley!

Great question! Yes, Alas y Raices in Santa Elena does fall within Sky Adventures’ normal pick-up/drop-off zone in Monteverde. This being said, Sky Adventures is a tour operator that does not automatically include round-trip transportation to/from any hotels in any of their tour rates (some tour operators in Costa Rica automatically include round-trip transportation in their rates and others do not; our related blog post https://costaricatravelblog.com/costa-rica-tour-transportation-hotel-pick-ups-drop-offs/ offers more information about this if you’re interested in further reading). Sky Adventures charges an extra fee (you’ll see this noted as the optional “Transportation Option” add-on on the tour’s listing page here: https://puravidaeh.ca/discounts/sky-trek-canopy-tour-ziplining-sky-walk-hanging-bridges-tour-sky-tram-aerial-tram-ride-adult-monteverde-sky-adventures/) to any/all travelers who want them to provide round-trip transportation with their tours. Sky Adventures’ prices vary by hotel location, but since Alas y Raices falls within their normal transportation zone, their regular, flat rate, round-trip transportation cost of $10 per person to/from Monteverde hotels applies.

If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask!

                  Pura vida! 🙂

Hey Ashley! We’re currently trying to decide which hot spring to spend our first night (relax after traveling + my birthday 🥳) and Ecothermales has caught my eye. Is the Arenal observatory included in the free pickup? I’m thinking not but thought I’d ask! Thanks!

                      Hello Beth!

Thanks so much for checking in with us about transportation to/from the Arenal Observatory Lodge! Unfortunately, most tour operators in La Fortuna charge extra to provide transportation to and/or from the Arenal Observatory Lodge given the hotel’s distance from town. If you’re interested in our discount for the EcoTermales Hot Springs Pass with Lunch or Dinner described here https://puravidaeh.ca/discounts/ecotermales-hot-springs-lunch-or-dinner-adult-from-la-fortuna-operated-by-ecotermales-hot-springs/ and you’d like to add transportation to or from the Arenal Observatory Lodge, the tour operator will charge an extra fee of $20 each way (per group, not per person). Alternatively, transportation to/from downtown La Fortuna and hotels considered to be “La Fortuna hotels” (in general, hotels that fall between downtown La Fortuna and the Tabacon Resort) is free. If you’ll have access to a rental car, you can also drive yourselves to/from the EcoTermales Hot Springs if you’d prefer.

As a side note, if you’re interested in learning more about the EcoTermales Hot Springs, don’t miss our related blog post: https://costaricatravelblog.com/ecotermales-hot-springs/

                      Pura vida! 🙂
