THE SPRINGS RESORT / CLUB RIO’S RESERVATION POLICIES
Payment policies
If no prepayment is provided to the Springs Resort: You will be able to cancel your reservation without penalty if the cancelation is made at least 24 hours before the tour/visit date. The payment will remain due in the event of no-shows or if the cancelation is made within 24 hours of the tour/visit date.
If you provide the Springs Resort / Club Rio with a credit card authorization form to guarantee your reservation: You will be able to cancel your reservation without penalty if the cancelation is made at least 24 hours before the tour/visit date. No refund is provided for cancelations made within 24 hours of the tour/visit date or no-shows.
If you pay the Springs Resort / Club Rio via an online payment link: The payment will be nonrefundable.
Other policies
CAUTIONARY NOTE TO PARENTS: Please watch your children at all times because rivers and their borders can be dangerous areas. Do not allow your children to do anything that appears dangerous. We do not have lifeguards or babysitters and we cannot be responsible to supervise or discipline your children. Children 13 and under must be accompanied and monitored by an adult at all times on the grounds of Club Rio. Please do not allow children that cannot swim well in the hot springs or river pools.
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY / ASSUME YOUR OWN RISK: Rivers, forest trails and natural rock formations are dangerous. There are many slippery surfaces and areas without railings so adults please accompany children under the age of 16. River currents can be swift and dangerous so please do not allow any person to swim in the river pool that is not a strong swimmer. PLEASE USE COMMON SENSE NEAR THE RIVER!
Do not arrive under the influence of alcoholic beverages or any other drug!
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason deemed appropriate by The Springs Resort and Spa for the safety of our guests, staff, animals & property. We further reserve the right to alter, modify, or cancel a tour due to weather, unsafe conditions or other circumstances out of our control.
Incidental charges must be paid directly to the Springs Resort prior to your departure.
For Club Rio reservations: Please arrive in the appropriate clothing for the first activity. Also, please bring very comfortable clothes, a rain jacket, insect repellent, sunscreen, tennis shoes or hiking shoes, and dry clothes to change into in case it rains. Water shoes are great for tours that take place in the river, such as the tubing tour and the kayaking tour. Water shoes are available for rent, if desired.
For tubing activities, please wear a long-sleeve shirt to avoid chafing your arms.
For horseback riding activities, please wear long pants and a dry pair of shoes as your shoes may get wet when we cross a river during the tour.
Our hot springs water is rich in minerals that may stain your clothing and bathing suit. Also, rocks around the hot springs can snag clothing and bathing suits. We recommend wearing a dark-colored, non-expensive bathing suit while enjoying the hot springs.
Lockers, changerooms, and towels are available for your use free of charge.
