Below are three helpful problem-solving methods.
Troubleshooting method #1: Register your Pura Vida! eh? account.
If you recently submitted payment for a Discount Level (i.e., a membership) through PayPal and you are unable to login above, this is likely because your Pura Vida! eh? member account has not yet been registered. In order to register your Pura Vida! eh? member account, please see the registration email you should have received immediately following payment through PayPal; the email provides a unique account registration link, and clicking on the link prompts you to select the username and password that you would like to associate with your Pura Vida! eh? member account. (Once you select a username and password to officially register your account, you’ll be able to log in above.) Please check your “junk mail” and “trash” folders as the registration email may end up in either one depending on your email system’s spam settings.
Troubleshooting method #2: Ensure you’re not using DIY Costa Rica account credentials to log in to a Pura Vida! eh? account.
We operate two membership-based projects: Pura Vida! eh? Inc. and DIY Costa Rica. To clarify, the two projects, their respective websites, and the accounts required to access each are different. While a DIY Costa Rica account provides access to all of the protected content on our DIY Costa Rica website (https://www.diycostarica.com), including our Costa Rica Destination Tool, a Pura Vida! eh? account provides access to the checkout page on our Pura Vida! eh? website (https://puravidaeh.ca), where you can submit an order for tour discounts.
If you’re not able to log in to our Pura Vida! eh? site (i.e., if you aren’t able to access the checkout page), and especially if you’re receiving a “user not found” error, it’s possible that you’re trying to enter credentials (i.e., the username and password) that are associated with a DIY Costa Rica account. In this case, the problem is likely that you’re not yet a Pura Vida! eh? member. (Note that you can become a member of DIY Costa Rica only, a member of Pura Vida! eh? only, or a member of both.) To quickly become a Pura Vida! eh? member click here. As a Pura Vida! eh? member, you’ll be able to log in to the Pura Vida! eh? website, access the checkout page, and submit an order for tour discounts.
Troubleshooting method #3: Reach out to us for help.
If, for some reason, you do not receive the Pura Vida! eh? account registration email soon after submitting payment through PayPal, or if you run into any problem registering or logging into your Pura Vida! eh? member account (assuming you’re not using DIY Costa Rica account credentials to log in), don’t hesitate to contact us for help.
