One of the most beautiful rivers of Costa Rica is just 45 minutes away from Manuel Antonio, Quepos. The lower section of the Savegre is a relaxing adventure. Our guides have full control of the raft and nobody is required to paddle!
It is an easy and scenic ride to the put in. After a brief safety talk, we will give you personal flotation device and NO helmet; this is the time to show off your hat! Your feet will get wet so wear the appropriate shoes.
The river trip is about 1 ½ to 2 hours depending on the water level. You will float and enjoy the lush scenery surrounding you. We stop on a beach to stretch your legs and enjoy some fruit and drinks we bring for you.
King Fishers, White Ibises, Iguanas, monkeys, and sloths are some of the animals that you may encounter. The flow will take you under Majestic trees like Guanacaste, Wild Cashew, and Ashwood. You will drift along smaller vegetation like wild cane and local farmland.
Feel free to bring your cameras and binoculars.
