Canopy Tour information:
Leap from the treetops and witness the wonder and awe of the jungle canopy in this thrilling adventure! Follow our guides as they take you high into the forest, where you will soar from platform to platform on our ecofriendly cables. Our ziplines are unique to the area, combining all of the following features into our innovative system:
- Double Cabled Lines – The only system of its kind in the Manuel Antonio/Quepos area
- Long Cables – More line time for more vacation fun
- Safety Features – All lines and equipment are in adherence with international safety standards
- Automatic Braking System – Hands-free braking allows for more enjoyment while riding
- More Treetop Activities – Explore our 9 lines, 17 platforms, 2 hanging bridges, and controlled rappel (belay)
- Equipment and Safety Gear – All riders are equipped with a harness, double pulley, three safety lines, gloves, helmet, and automatic & semi-automatic carabineers (Apex Rock and Petzl equipment)

What to Expect
Once you book your tour, our office will let you know what time our vans will pick you from your hotel. As soon as all guests are onboard the van, there will be a quick stop to our office in Quepos to fill out the necessary paperwork and then your adventure begins! Enjoy the 25-minute drive through an operative African Palm plantation and through the small town of Cerros, which is home to many of the plantation workers. You will cross our famous suspension bridge over the Rio Cañas and enter MidWorld, where you will be escorted to our rancho. Upon arrival, or after your meal, our guides will fit you in your harness and safety equipment, and then begin the safety presentation specifically designed for our double-cabled system. Once everyone is ready to go, our MidWorld trucks will take you up to the cables and the adventure will begin! This tour is approximately 2 ½ hours long, giving all riders ample opportunity to experience and learn about the beautiful landscape and wildlife that this property has to offer. So, sit back, relax, and dive into this exhilarating Costa Rican experience!
Superman Cable information:
If you’ve ever dreamed of flying like the legendary Superman, then your dreams are soon to be reality. Here at MidWorld, not only can you fly like the classic hero, but you can fly on the longest double-cabled line in Central America! This exclusive ziplining experience takes on a whole new look with the following features:
- Longest Double-Cabled Line – This is the longest double-cabled line in Central America, measuring in at over 1 km in length
- Exhilarating Speed – Reach top speeds up to 80kmph (or 50mph)
- Spectacular Views – Sail alongside mountains and rivers while you fly over a beautiful working teak plantation
- Safety Equipment – All riders are equipped with a full body harness, two double pulley systems, and a helmet and glasses for maximum visibility and eye protection
- Kid Friendly – Kids ages 9+ are welcome!
- Lunch Included – Enjoy a traditional, home cooked Costa Rican meal with your tour

- This tour requires a minimum of 2 people to run. Please contact us to inquire about tour availability if your travel group is comprised of less than the tour operator’s required minimum number of participants.
