Camino Verde falls within the transportation zone that tour operators in Monteverde can service, but that said, the Treetopia Park (formerly known as Sky Adventures Monteverde) is a tour operator that does not automatically include round-trip transportation to/from any hotels in their tour rates, so they’ll charge you a transportation fee if you’d like to get picked up and dropped off anywhere in Monteverde, including Camino Verde. (That’s the optional “Transportation Add-On” option that you’ll see on the tour’s listing page on our website; the current charge is $10.00/person plus tax.) Alternatively, if you’ll have a rental car, you can avoid the Treetopia Park’s transportation fee by driving yourselves to/from their park. 🙂

Are you looking to experience the activities in La Fortuna (Arenal) or Monteverde?
In La Fortuna, there’s a park where you can do the hanging bridges and zip-lines at the same place, and a different park where you can do the hanging bridges and go horseback riding at the same place, but there isn’t a place where you can experience all three activities (i.e., hanging bridges, zip-lines, and horseback riding).
In Monteverde, there’s a park where you can do the hanging bridges and zip-lines at the same place, but there is no horseback riding at that park.
When you have a chance, let me know which destination (La Fortuna or Monteverde) you plan to visit, and once I know that information I can confirm whether student discounts are available for the experiences.

As an update for other travelers who may stumble across this post in our forum, I’ll confirm that, unfortunately, due to Nuevo Arenal’s distance from La Fortuna (an approximate one-hour drive), accommodations in that region do not qualify for La Fortuna-based tour operators’ complimentary tour transportation.

We just need to make sure that transportation to/from the cruise port in Limon would be an option on your chosen tour date prior to confirming if it will be free. The custom membership cost to access one tour discount for a group of 20 people would be $99.99. (If you’d like to proceed with this option, simply let me know and I can send you a payment request for it through PayPal.) For transportation, this is provided by the tour operator, so in order for me to confirm whether it could be provided, I’ll just need to know which exact tour you have in mind. Was there a specific tour that you want to experience to/from the port in Limon? The Arenal Highlights Tour (hanging bridge/waterfall/volcano tour combo) is still available and the rate for it is currently the same as the 2023 season rate. You can find our discount for that activity here:

You should be able to place an order for our discount for that tour without issue. (In other words, you should be able to click on a January 2024 date on the calendar without issue.) If you aren’t able to do that, would you mind explaining below what the exact issue is that you’re experiencing?
