Just to clarify, the Arenal Sky Adventures Park’s Sky Trek Canopy Tour is a zip-lining tour, not a rappelling/canyoning tour. Did you mean “Pure Trek” (instead of “Sky Trek”) by chance? Pure Trek runs a canyoning tour, so my best guess is that it’s their tour you have in mind.

Unfortunately, your tour request was canceled because we didn’t hear back from you regarding our emails. To confirm, we sent you 4 emails since you first placed your order, and we didn’t hear back from you about any of those emails, which were sent over the past few weeks. 🙁
One of the emails contained the tour operator’s time-sensitive payment instructions, and since those instructions weren’t followed, the tour request was canceled and no tour confirmation was provided. To confirm, the email we sent you on March 30th provided an opportunity for you to avoid the cancelation, but since we didn’t receive a response from you to that email, the cancelation was approved and the tour spaces were released by the tour operator.

To check, which specific discount are you interested in? I’m not entirely sure which discount you’re looking at, so I can’t say for sure whether it’s available or sold out at the moment. I did spot the email you sent us shortly after posting this forum comment, and in it, you mentioned that you’re interested in a combined zip-lining and rappelling tour for your time in La Fortuna. Several tour operators offer this combined experience but I’m not sure which particular one you have your eye on. 🙂

Most Manuel Antonio tour operators that automatically include transportation in their rates will offer the service to/from Makanda by the Sea without problem. Although the hotel is off Manuel Antonio’s main road (Road 618), it’s still considered a “Manuel Antonio hotel” and qualifies for most tour operators’ complimentary transportation service.

Once we receive your order for the discount, the tour operator (Sky Adventures) will let us know if they have availability for your preferred tour time. If something happens that they don’t, I’ll let you know what other times are available. Also to confirm, if something happens that they’re completely sold out of tour spaces for your requested tour date, I’ll confirm this with you as well, and I’ll also refund the entirety of your membership payment (through PayPal).

Great! Please see below for my answers to your questions. 🙂
1. For this discount, you’ll need a level 3 membership ($19.99), which is good for 1 tour discount for a total of 4 people. To confirm, even though the combo tour includes three activities (the zip-lining tour, the aerial tram ride, and the hanging bridges walk), we count it as only 1 tour.
2. Unfortunately, we don’t have a discount for this tour at the moment.
3. At the current time, we only provide discounts for day tours, not transportation services, so we don’t have discounts for the transportation services you mention.

Re: the membership level, just let me know which exact discounts you want to access (i.e., which exact tours you’re interested in doing), as well as the number of people that will participate in each tour (no need to identify at this point whether they’re adults, students, or children), and I can confirm the membership level that you’ll need.

PayPal typically sends out their own emails regarding returned funds, so you should have received (or should soon receive) a message from them directly. If, for some reason, their message doesn’t arrive or the funds don’t reach you, just let me know and I’ll follow up with PayPal about it.

Each tour operator has its own policy regarding transportation and parking, so once I know the exact tour you’re interested in, I can let you know whether the tour operator can provide complimentary transportation, and if not, whether they can provide free parking. 🙂

You’re absolutely correct–Mistico Park doesn’t label the group between adults and children as “students,” they label them as “teens/adolescents.” Most other tour operators call the group “students” as opposed to “adolescents/teens,” which is why our website is designed to show the same, but to account for the Mistico Park’s unique preference, we note on their tour listing pages on our website that the “student” rate only applies to individuals up to the age of 18. For example, on the tour listing page for our student discount for Mistico Park’s Natural History Walk (https://puravidaeh.ca/discounts/arenal-hanging-bridges-tour-student-la-fortuna-mistico-arenal-hanging-bridges-park/), just under the discounted price, we state that the “Age group(s) that receive the student rate for this activity: 11-18 years”, and similarly, on the tour listing page for our adult discount for the same tour (https://puravidaeh.ca/discounts/arenal-hanging-bridges-tour-adult-la-fortuna-mistico-arenal-hanging-bridges-park/), we state that the “Age group(s) that receive the adult rate for this activity: 19+ years.” So, to confirm for the 21-year-old in your group, this individual would qualify for the “adult” discount (applicable to individuals age 19 and older) even though they’re technically a student.
To confirm, this situation is unique to the Mistico Park. Other tour operators may have different policies that would accept a different outcome. For example, Sky Adventures applies their student rate to individuals up to the age of 24 years, so for any of their tours, the 21-year-old in your group would qualify for the student discount. 🙂
