      Hi Linda!

Thanks so much for your interest in our discounts, and for your very kind comments about our blog and DIY Costa Rica project! 🙂

For the hot springs pass, the timeline is 5pm-9pm.If you choose to drive yourself, and not have the tour operator provide complimentary round-trip transportation, you can go later than 5pm if you prefer.

        Hey Ewelina!

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to help with the request for this Wednesday, but if the order is placed asap, we can make Thursday work! 🙂 When placing your order, our website won’t allow you to choose Thursday’s date since it’s within the 10-day period, but you can just manually type the date in instead. Or, you can select a random date on the calendar and then include in the notes section on the checkout page that the correct date is this Thursday.

          Hey Chelsea!

          This is a great to-do (and to-see) list! 🙂

Since you know some of the experiences you’d like to have but you don’t know where to go, I’d recommend using our Costa Rica Destination Tool, which is available on our sister site, DIY Costa Rica. The tool will help you narrow down 66 Costa Rica destinations according to nearly 150 criteria in less than 1 minute, and you can select a lot of the criteria you mentioned in your question, including your interests in kayaking, fishing, waterfalls, and visiting a beach. (We’re also currently adding wildlife-specific selection criteria, so soon you’ll also be able to narrow down destinations by sloths, monkeys, jaguars, etc.). It’s a super handy tool we spent a lot of time developing specifically to help people like you who want to match their preferences, interests, and needs to Costa Rica destinations.

In addition, since you mentioned concern about the rain, you may be interested in reading our related blog post When To Go To Costa Rica According To Cost, Weather, Wildlife, And More!. It outlines the best time of year to visit Costa Rica if good weather (or low prices or prime wildlife-viewing) is your priority.

            Hi Ewelina!

We’d love to be able to help if we can. It truly depends on the tour operator, as some are faster than others to process requests, and some have more flexible policies that allow us to send in requests within the normal 10-day limit. Which destinations do you plan to visit during your trip and/or which specific day tours/activities do you have in mind?

In general, and at this particular time of year, we can typically accept requests for tours/activities run by Sky Adventures, Desafio Adventure Company, Pure Trek, the Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park, Exploradores Outdoors, EcoTermales Hot Springs, Paradise Hot Springs, Hacienda Guachipelin, Vandara Hot Springs & Adventure, and Paco’s Horses within about 5-6 days of the requested tour date. So, if you’re able to get your order for discounts submitted today, we can put a rush on them for tours/activities beginning this weekend.

            Until soon! 🙂

              Hi Andrea!

Unfortunately, the Arenal Observatory Lodge isn’t considered a “La Fortuna hotel” by most tour operators, so tour operators will charge an extra fee to offer pick-ups/drop-offs at that property. If you’ll have a rental car, though, so you can save the cost of those fees by driving yourselves to/from Pure Trek’s office and Sky Adventures’s park. 🙂

                Hi Michelle!

No problem at all! 🙂 To confirm, we received the email you sent us on Wednesday morning and we responded about 15 minutes later. The cancelations aren’t an issue at all, we’re just waiting to hear back from you about the refunds. In case the message was missed (or ended up in your junk/trash folder), you can view a web version of it here.

                Until soon! 🙂

                  Hello Anna!

Ok, no problem! I just re-sent the email. When you have a moment, would you mind letting me know if you received it? If not, I can try sending it from a different account to see if that helps.

                      Hey Anna!

Great news! Las Colinas (in downtown La Fortuna) qualifies. 🙂 Did you want us to have the tour operator provide transportation to/from Las Colinas with your existing order? Also to check, have you had a chance to review our email about the tax? We’re just waiting to hear back from you about that, but if something happens that you didn’t receive the email or you no longer have it (if your junk mail folder has already been cleared out), just let me know and I can re-send it.

                      Until soon! 🙂

                        Hi Vanessa!

Thanks so much for your patience! Our Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve Tour discount was scheduled to be updated this week, so I wanted to wait to respond until after that update took place so I could confirm with you that it is back in stock. Fortunately, it is now officially in stock (our website has been updated to reflect that), so we can certainly help you with a discount for that tour.

Thanks so much for checking in with us about the other tours too! Our discounts for Selvatura’s tours, the Manuel Antonio National Park Tour, and the Isla Damas Tour won’t be available before you plan to travel, so, unfortunately, we won’t be able to provide you with discounts for those items. Our discount for the Arenal Highlights Tour is currently available, though, so that one shouldn’t be a problem. Was it just the regular Arenal Highlights Tour (without hot springs) that you are interested in? If you’re interested in one of the Arenal Highlights Tours that includes hot springs, if we aren’t able to offer a discount for the specific hot springs property that you want, we can still provide you with a discount for the highlights tour without hot springs, and you can simply secure the hot springs pass on your own for the evening on the same day. This way, you can at least access our discount for the activities included with the highlights tour (the hanging bridges, the waterfall, and the volcano tour). 🙂

Thank you so much for commenting here to let us know! I’ve just re-sent you our two messages. When you have a moment, would you mind checking your inbox (and junk/trash folders) to see if you’ve received them? If not, just let me know by commenting on this forum again and I can send the messages to you in a different way. 🙂

                            Hi Line Lucas!

I apologize for taking the day to get back to you! Our website’s server is undergoing some maintenance which has caused our site to be up and down throughout the day and I’ve been working with them on that. As a side note, if you happened to visit our site today and noticed it was down or looked a bit funny, I believe those issues have been resolved now. 🙂

                            On to your question…

Unfortunately, Pura Vida! eh? Inc. only provides discounts for Costa Rica day tours, so unfortunately we can’t help with private transfer services. 🙁

                              Hey Line Lucas!

When you go to submit your request for our tour discount through our website, if you include the name of your hotel (Arenal Manoa) in the “Hotel Name” box (below the “Tour Date” box), the tour operator will provide the free pick-up/drop-off service for you. 🙂

                                Hello Line Lucas!

Great! Fortunately, the Arenal Highlights Tour includes complimentary transportation to/from La Fortuna hotels, and the tour operator considers Arenal Manoa to be a La Fortuna hotel, so transportation is free. 🙂

                                  Hello Marilynn!

Fortunately, we currently have availability for discounts for both tours! As a heads up, I wouldn’t recommend doing the Sky Trek tour at 9:00am (it typically wraps up around 11:30am but could run late) and Pure Trek’s afternoon canyoning tour because the timeline between the two tours will be very tight. If you take the Sky Trek tour at 9:00am, you may miss Pure Trek’s afternoon tour, which begins at 12:00pm. (You’ll need to plan to arrive at Pure Trek’s office around 11:45am, and it’s a good 20-minute drive away from Sky Adventures’s Arenal Park.) If you only have one travel day to fit in both tours, I’d recommend taking the 8:00am Sky Trek tour, so you have an extra hour of buffer time between the two tours, or else take Pure Trek’s morning tour (7:00am) and one of Sky Trek’s afternoon tours (1:00pm, 2:00pm, or 3:00pm).

                                  Pura vida! 🙂
