KeymasterHi Denise!
Great question! 🙂 To confirm, the two projects (Pura Vida! eh? and DIY Costa Rica), their respective websites, and the accounts required to access each are different:
-a DIY Costa Rica account provides access to all of the protected content on our DIY Costa Rica website (https://www.diycostarica.com), including our Costa Rica Destination Tool.
-a Pura Vida! eh? account provides access to the checkout page on our Pura Vida! eh? website (https://puravidaeh.ca) where you can submit an order for discounts.Regarding your tour-specific question, no problem! Since 3 people in your group want to zipline and tour the hanging bridges, and 2 people in your group only want to tour the hanging bridges, you can simply submit an order for discounts the same way: 3 people (1 adult and 2 students) for the ziplining and hanging bridge combo, and 2 people for the hanging bridges. Unfortunately, there isn’t much to do at Sky Adventures while you want for the other people to complete the zip-lining tour (there’s a restaurant you can wait in and a souvenir shop you can browse around), but you are welcome to stay on the premises.

KeymasterHey Celeste!
Thanks so much for visiting our site! Tenorio Adventure Company is the operator of the Tenorio River Safari Float Tour, and Desafio Adventure Company is the tour operator of the Tarcoles Boat Tour and Carara National Park Tour. At least they were; the companies have made some changes to their adventure connection offerings this year, so depending on when you plan to travel, the tours may or may not be available. Here are the websites for both:

KeymasterHi Niki!
Great name! 😉 I’m happy to answer your questions for you.
#1. You’re correct! The prices displayed online are the prices before tax. We cannot automatically include tax in the prices because different tour operators apply different tax rates while the Costa Rican government works through its tax rollout program. (You can learn more about the government’s tax rollout program here.)
#2. You’re correct again! The only money you’ll ever pay to us is for our membership. All tours are paid directly to the tour operator. When you order a discount through our website, we’ll send you an email that contains the tour operator’s instructions on how and when to pay for their tour. Because you’re a member, though, the price that the tour operator will charge you will be our discounted rate, not their original tour rate.
#3. You’re assumption is correct! Unfortunately, we don’t currently have any discounts for Proyecto Asis.

KeymasterHey Samantha!
Thanks so much for your interest! We won’t have discounts for Selvatura tours until the high season at the earliest, so if you plan to visit during July (i.e., part of the low season), the discounts for Selvatura’s tours won’t be available for your trip. 🙁 Don’t hesitate to let us know if there are any other discounts we can help you with!

KeymasterHi OajandFan!
Thank you so much for reaching out to us via our forum! 🙂
Please see this link–our online messaging system allows us to pull up versions of sent emails as web forms, so in case you didn’t get our email sent yesterday, you can view a copy of it online. To confirm, we received your order but had a quick question in regards to the children in your group. As soon as we hear back from you about that, we can process the tour discount for you! 🙂
Until soon!

KeymasterHey Dave!
No problem! I just reset your password for you using a temporary password, which I just emailed you about a few minutes ago. 🙂

KeymasterHey Danny!
We received your order! 🙂 So I trust that all is well and that you were able to receive the registration email and log in okay.
Quick question for you: We’re currently processing your order, but I noticed that the discount you requested for the Balsa River Rafting Tour is for 4 children and no adults. Is this correct? Or was the order supposed to be for 4 adults? (Note: I caught that your group includes two individuals aged 14 and 17; to confirm, the tour operator will consider them to be “adults” since they’re over the age of 12.)
Until soon! 🙂

KeymasterHi Linda!
This quick message is simply to see if you were able to receive our email sent on May 27th? It may have ended up in your junk mail folder as that’s typically the case with our emails. I know you leave on your trip shortly, and since your order hasn’t yet been processed, I’m hoping we can find a way to connect.

KeymasterHi Julie!
Sure thing! A few minutes ago, I just sent you an email with details and a price quote. 🙂

KeymasterHi Susan!
I can confirm that we received your requests! We had sent you an email back with a question because we weren’t sure if you wanted both orders (they seemed like duplicate orders to us since the tour and date were the same on both), and I just re-sent you that email a few minutes ago in case it was missed the first time (or ended up blocked or in your junk mail folder). Now that I’ve spotted your forum comment, though, I understand that it was your intent to place two orders, and that one wasn’t a duplicate of the other. In this case, I have some information to send you regarding your membership level. I’ll go ahead and send that email to you in the next few minutes. If something happens that you don’t receive that email, feel free to report back here and I can re-send it too.

KeymasterHi Linda!
Quick question: Are you currently a Pura Vida! eh? member, in addition to being a DIY Costa Rica member? To confirm, DIY Costa Rica is a sister project of ours, and it’s easy to confuse that project with Pura Vida! eh?. To confirm, the two projects, their respective websites, and the accounts required to access each are different:
-a DIY Costa Rica account provides access to all of the protected content on our DIY Costa Rica website (https://www.diycostarica.com), including our Costa Rica Destination Tool.
-a Pura Vida! eh? account provides access to the checkout page on our Pura Vida! eh? website (https://puravidaeh.ca) where you can submit an order for discounts. If you’re not able to log in to Pura Vida! eh? (i.e., if you aren’t able to access the checkout page), especially if you’re trying to enter credentials (i.e., the username and password) that are associated with a DIY Costa Rica account, the problem is likely that you’re not yet a Pura Vida! eh? member. (Note that you may still be a DIY Costa Rica member; you can be a member of Pura Vida! eh? only, DIY Costa Rica only, or both.) If this is the case, you can quickly become a Pura Vida! eh? member here. (Please keep an eye on your junk mail folder and trash bin following payment through PayPal because the account registration email may end up there.) Once you’ve registered your Pura Vida! eh? account, you’ll be able to log in, access the checkout page, and submit an order for discounts.
Pura vida! 🙂
