Hello, I would like to purchase two of the “Discount: Springs Resort Hot Springs Pass With Lunch Or Dinner + Extra Free Day – Adult” for 12/16, which is within the 10 day minimum. I was wondering if an exception could be made in this case? Thank you.

This particular discount takes longer to process (sometimes around 3-5 days), so it will take us a little longer to get back to you about it, but we should be able to process it for you if an order is placed through our website by the end of the day today.
As a heads up, the second (free) day of the hot springs pass may not apply in your case because beginning on December 17th, the resort will be closed to the public. If you don’t plan to re-visit the resort on the second day, though (I caught in your other forum post that you are thinking about doing the Arenal Highlights Tour on the 17th), you can still plan to visit the resort for the full day on December 16th.

As we are now outside the 10 day window, December 16th cannot be selected, only December 18th and later. How should I place the order through the website for that day? Thank you.

Hi Evan!
No problem! The date is greyed out because (as you mentioned) it’s within the next 10 days, but you can simply write in the date (instead of using the little calendar to select a date). Or, if you’d prefer, you can pick a random date on the calendar, and then note the correct tour date in the special notes section on the checkout page. 🙂

Hello! I am not sure if this is a recent post, however I was just getting ready to book this two day pass for 12/19/21. Is the Springs resort going to be closed??

Unfortunately, yes. 🙁 The Springs Resort will be closed to the public between December 17th, 2021, and January 8th, 2022, so unfortunately no tour operator (or the resort directly) will be able to provide hot springs passes or reservations for Club Rio during those days. The only people who will be able to access the resort’s facilities will be overnight guests.

That is very unfortunate to hear! Is that due to the amount of visitors? Will all the hot spring resorts be like this as well? Where do you suggest we reserve?

It’s very unfortunate! 🙁 The other hot spring properties remain open. For picking which one you’d like to visit, there are a few options. We can offer discounts for the EcoTermales Hot Springs, the Paradise Hot Springs, and the Los Lagos Hot Springs. We don’t have discounts for the Baldi Hot Springs or the Tabacon Hot Springs, but they’re good choices too.
