Thanks so much for your comment and for your interest in our Springs Resort Hot Springs Pass discount.
Quick question… did you mean to write 2022? If this is correct, then, unfortunately, we can’t book the Springs Resort Hot Springs Pass that far in the future because (according to the resort’s reservations staff) the owner hasn’t yet decided if the pass is going to be available for purchase beyond the current season, which ends on December 17th, 2021.
If you meant to write 2021, and you’re asking because our website is currently only accepting requests for discounts beginning July 1st, then, yes, we should be able to make this work! The absolute latest that we’re able to process discounts, though, is 10 days prior to the requested tour date, which would be tomorrow (June 10th) if the date you wish to request the discount for is June 20th (of this year). If you’d like to secure the discount for June 20th 2021, please submit an order for it through our website by tomorrow at the latest.

I just reread your original question and realized that you may have meant for the “22” to be June 22nd, not an abbreviation of 2022. In other words, you may be interested in the hot springs pass for either June 20th, June 21st, or June 22nd. Is that correct? If so, we can try to make that happen. Please see my note in the response above about the minimum amount of time we need to process an order. I should also note that our discounts are not retroactive, so if you happen to already have a reservation for the hot springs pass through the Springs Resort (or another company) directly, unfortunately, we won’t be able to help. If you don’t, though, please go ahead and place an order for the discount through our website and we’ll be more than glad to assist you! 🙂

thanks for the quick response. And you are correct, it would most likely be June 21-22nd or 22-23rd this year. But we are still undecided between Tabacon and The Springs for the hot springs. The Springs might be a bit too resort-y while I worry that Tabacon might be too overrun. If we want to enjoy some natural setting and quietness, what would you recommend? -
In addition to that, does the 10 day limit also still apply to the Sky Adventures tours? Can’t decide between Sky Trek and Sky Limit. The combined one unfortunately isn’t available anymore for the dates we are looking.

This is a tough call (and a common dilemma), choosing between the Springs Resort and the Tabacon Resort. Lots of factors come into play, especially the dates you plan to visit. Since travel is at an all-time low due to the pandemic, and June is part of the low season, there’s a good chance you’ll be able to get some quiet time at either place. The Springs Resort is “resort-y” (as you note) in some areas but offers remote, intimate spaces too, especially if you visit the Lagoons (as opposed to the hot springs up by the main building) or the hot springs at the resort’s on-site adventure center, Club Rio. At Tabacon, the draw is the natural river. It, too, has some intimate spaces spread out along the riverbed.

I was interested in the Sky Trek, Tram & Limit combo tour which you guys don’t offer. Plus there is no free slot on the days I was considering (20 or 21st).
Since we get to La Fortuna on the 19 afternoon and leave on the 22nd afternoon I am looking to spend one day at the hotsprings (either Tabacon or Springs) and do one or 1.5 days of activities.
The springs ticket would allow us to spend some time there 21st in the evening and 22nd in the morning before we head back to San Jose (around 3pm so we get there around 6) while I could also buy a morning pass for Tabacon with lunch.
In any case, thanks for your answers, appreciate the help. If we cant do the combo tour I would love to do either Sky Trek or Sky Limit.

If it’s the Sky Limit and Sky Trek/Sky Tram Combo Tour that you’re interested in, I can request that our discount for that be added to our site asap so you can secure the discount today.
Also, there are some timeslots available that we’re permitted to access for the Sky Limit and Sky Trek/Sky Tram Combo if that’s your preference. Availability is subject to other reservations, but at the current moment, there is space at 10:30am on June 20th and at 9:00am and 10:30am on June 21st. How many people are in your travel group?

But you can type in the date manually, which should work. Also, the order will automatically add tax because Costa Rica’s new tax program comes into effect on July 1st and, as explained above, our system is designed to function beginning July 1st. I’ll remove the tax for you, though, when the order is received on our end. Since you’re participating in the tour during June (i.e., prior to July 1st), you won’t pay Sky Adventures any tax.
As a heads up, if there are any other discounts you are interested in, the latest we will be able to accept orders for them (for June 20th or June 21st) is tonight at midnight.
