I saw your previous posts. Do any of the companies provided do a transportation/tour/day trip that picks us up in San Jose, drops us off in La Fortuna, with stops at La Paz and Poas? We have 3 people and one is not the adventurous type with rafting/canyoning/etc which seem to be the popular suggestions.

Are there any particular favorite stops for you other than La Paz and Poas on the bay to La Fortuna that don’t require a water activity? Thanks!

          Hi Jessica!

Thanks so much for checking in about this! Unfortunately, the tour operator who previously offered the option to visit La Paz and Poas on the way between San Jose and La Fortuna no longer does so. 🙁 Also, you’re right; most tours that include transportation between San Jose and La Fortuna are adventurous tours. There is an option to do the Sarapiqui River Jungle Safari Tour on the way from San Jose to La Fortuna, though, in case that option interests your group. It is a water-based activity, but it’s a mild, slow-moving boat tour, not a white-water rafting tour like the other options, so perhaps it will work?

          Pura vida! 🙂
