Hello, I am interested in becoming a member for the tour discounts for an upcoming June trip. However, I wanted to ask about the policy for rescheduling tours due to weather? As I am traveling to CR during the start of the rainy season, I want to make sure that there is some flexibility in being able to reschedule plans for rain. Thank you.

In general, most tours run rain or shine. This is because it can rain here in the rainforest for two-thirds of the year, so the rain isn’t a deterrent. That being said, if the rainfall is so heavy that it compromises the safety of the tour, the tour operator will cancel the activity. In these cases, they’ll either offer a different tour instead, reschedule the original tour, or provide a refund. Because experiencing the rain is part of the Costa Rica experience, especially during green season months, most tour operators won’t provide refunds for cancelations made by travelers last minute because of rain.
