We would like to be picked up in San Jose airport hotel for Pacuare Rafting and then be dropped off in La Fortuna at the end of the day. Is there an extra charge for the different drop-off? Alternatively, if we drive to the river with a rental car, is there a discount on the rafting fees. We are a party of two for October 29th. Thank you !

Exploradores Outdoors (the rafting tour operator) doesn’t charge extra to provide travelers with transportation between San Jose and La Fortuna, although sometimes pick-up or drop-off fees are charged depending on the exact hotels you stay at. When you say “San Jose airport hotel”, which specific hotel are you staying at? Also, whereabouts in La Fortuna will you be staying?
If you’d rather drive yourselves to/from the river, we have a discount for that option as well. (It is less expensive overall.) I’ll link it for you below:
