Exploradores Outdoors can provide complimentary transportation between San Jose and Puerto Viejo (both Puerto Viejo de Talamanca and Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui, which are located in very different areas) with their rafting tours, and that offering still applies if you choose to use our discount. 🙂 The only way complimentary transportation wouldn’t apply (according to Exploradores Outdoors’ policies, not our policies) is if you choose to stay at accommodations that lie on the outskirts of the two destinations. In this case, Exploradores Outdoors might need to charge you an additional pick-up or drop-off fee to provide transportation from your chosen accommodations. (Alternatively, in this case, you could use a taxi or your own transportation to get between your accommodation and the nearest free pick-up/drop-off spot to save the cost of the pick-up or drop-off fee.) Most hostels and hotels (not vacation rentals) in Puerto Viejo and San Jose proper qualify for the complimentary pick-up and drop-off service.
