Hey TK!
Great question! The answer depends on how soon you plan to travel, and whether there are any in-stock discounts that interest you.
If there are in-stock and out-of-stock discounts that interest you at this time, it would be best to get a membership so you can access the discounts that are currently in stock. Calculate the membership level you buy based on the number of in-stock discounts you want to access. That way, you don’t buy a larger membership than you need if the out-of-stock discounts you want don’t come back in stock. If they do come back in stock, you can always upgrade your membership later so you can access them.
If none of our in-stock discounts interest you, then I’d recommend holding off on getting a membership. If you plan to travel soon, the discounts likely won’t come back in stock before you need them. If you plan to travel several weeks or months in the future, though, you may want to keep an eye on our website. We change discount stock statuses from time to time, so it’s possible that the discounts that are currently out of stock will come back in stock later. If that happens, you’ll need a membership to access them, but you can always buy the membership then, not now in advance.
Pura vida! 🙂

For the rafting tour I called the company yesterday and they said it’s available every day but I and I would like to go on the 11th or 12th of April and on your discount page those dates are not available is there anything I can do about that??

Hi Karen!
Thanks so much for your interest in our discounts! 🙂
The reason why our website won’t allow you to select the tour date is that the date falls within the next 10 days. Because we require a minimum of 10 days notice to process discount orders, unfortunately, it isn’t possible to obtain the discount for a tour within the next few days. In this case, I’d recommend going ahead and booking directly with the tour operator.
Pura vida!
