Thanks so much for double-checking. Yes! The Nayara Resort, Spa and Gardens (as well as Nayara’s sister property, Nayara Springs) qualifies as a “La Fortuna hotel”. This means that tour operators that offer complimentary transportation with their tours can offer pick-ups and drop-offs at Nayara for free.

Sky Adventures (the operator of the Sky Walk Hanging Bridges Tour and Sky Trek Canopy Zip-lining Tour, among other tours) is a tour operator that does not automatically include complimentary transportation with any of their tours, though they offer the service for an extra fee. Fortunately, transportation to/from Nayara qualifies for their regular round-trip transportation fee of $17/person (current price for the 2019 season) and does not require payment of a second, additional fee (sometimes a second, additional fee is charged to provide transportation from hotels that sit further away from La Fortuna).

For booking for December 2020, this is no problem for us. However, Sky Adventures has only released their tour and transportation rates for the 2019 season which ends this December (2019). If you choose to proceed with booking the tour now for the 2020 season, one of two things will happen, either Sky Adventures will issue the confirmation for the 2020 tour at the current 2019 tour and transportation rates, or Sky Adventures will inform us of a price increase that will apply to tours/transfers experienced in 2020.

It can be a benefit to you to book early, because if Sky Adventures hasn’t yet determined what their prices for the 2020 season will be, you can secure the tour/transport at the current 2019 rates and avoid a price increase. If Sky Adventures decides to increase their prices for the 2020 season at a late time, your booking will remain confirmed at the 2019 price it was requested at.

If Sky Adventures has already determined what their prices for the 2020 season will be, they will respond to the tour booking request to explain that 2020 season pricing will apply. If this happens, we will let you know what the 2020 discounted prices are, so you can decide if you’d like to proceed with the booking at the new discounted rates, or if you’d prefer to cancel the tour/transport request altogether. Either way is alright with us!
