Good morning!
We are traveling to Costa Rica and wanted to know the availability for Nov 5, 6 or 7 for white water rafting through the Exploradores Outdoors. Also, if there is pick up from Baldi Hot Springs. Thank you so much for your help in advance! -

Hello Evelyn!
Thanks so much for your question and for your recent request for our Rio Celeste Tour discount! 🙂
At the present time, there is availability for the Pacuare River Rafting Tour for all three dates you mention, and transportation to/from the Baldi Hot Springs is provided by the tour operator free of charge.
If you’re interested in securing our discount for this tour, I will just mention that our system currently only accepts requests made at least 7 days in advance of desired tour dates. This means that if you’re thinking of experiencing the Pacuare River Rafting Tour on November 5th (and you would like to use our discount), the latest we would be able to accept a request for it would be the end of the day today; if you wanted to experience the tour on November 6th (and you would like to use our discount), the latest we would be able to accept a request for it would be the end of the day tomorrow; and so on. Just wanted to let you know this as I’d hate for you to want to access our discount for a particular tour date and find out too late that it’s no longer accessible. 🙁
If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask!
Pura vida!

Thank you for the fast response! We will look into booking the request for today. Would you recommend this specific river if we are staying at Baldi? Not sure if maybe there is a closer/better option.

Hello Evelyn!
No problem! We’re happy to help. 🙂
For rafting tours to/from La Fortuna, there are three main options: the Pacuare River, the Sarapiqui River, and the Balsa River. The Pacuare River is the furthest from La Fortuna (approximately 2-2.5 hours) but it’s widely regarded as the best rafting experience in the country. Its scenery is incomparable, and rafting tours provide great value. You’ll raft around 30 kilometers on the Pacuare River (most other rafting tours cover less than this distance) and trips down Pacuare include breakfast and lunch (most other rafting tours include lunch only). Besides the Pacuare River, the next furthest river from La Fortuna is the Sarapiqui River (approximately 1.5 hours), followed by the Balsa River (approximately 40 minutes). It’s worth noting that, of the tours we offer discounts for, the Pacuare River and the Sarapiqui River are class III/IV rivers (rapid classification). The Balsa River, which we also offer a discount for, is a class II/III river and provides a less intense rafting experience.
