Hi Nikki and Ricky,
We are interested in planning a day trip from El Silencio Lodge and Resort in Bajos Del Toro to experience Arenal/La Fortuna. Specifically, the Arenal combo tour with Springs hot springs.
Are there any transportation options available from our resort? I do have a rental car, so it’s not necessary, but I am curious if an option exists.Lastly, when purchasing any of the discounts, my assumption is that they are one per person, not per group. So for the two of us, I need to purchase 2x discounts for every tour?

For tours to/from El Silencio Lodge, since you mentioned you will have a rental car, I’d recommend driving yourselves. Transportation fees to/from El Silencio Lodge tend to be hefty; Canoa Aventura (the combo tour operator) in particular charges $156 each way (this cost would be for the two of you, not per person), so if you opted to have them pick you up and drop you off at El Silencio Lodge, you’d pay them $312 just in transport fees, which would be added to the cost of the tour.
As for our discounts, that’s correct! If there are two people in your group who would like to access one of our discounts (i.e., our discount for the combo tour), you’d need to order that discount and indicate “2” in the quantity field on the tour’s listing page.
