Great question! We haven’t had a chance to head over to the Nauyaca Waterfall Nature Park yet, so, unfortunately, I can’t comment on that attraction. We’ve visited the Nauyaca Waterfall via the original access site (Nauyaca Waterfalls), though, and that was a thrill. We’ve also visited the waterfall via hiking (as opposed to horseback riding), which was a challenge but well worth the trip. From what I’ve heard, access to the waterfall via the Nature Park option is less strenuous, so if you don’t plan to take the horseback riding tour that the original access site (Nauyaca Waterfalls) offers, you may be better off going with the Nature Park option and using their trolley.

Great question! Personally, we prefer Sky Adventures’s tour, not only because of the braking system but because it includes a complimentary aerial tram ride.

That message likely ended up in your spam folder because your email provider wouldn’t have recognized the sender. Would you mind checking your spam folder once more to see if the new email is there? For your account, I can confirm that we received your PayPal payment yesterday successfully. The account registration email is sent out automatically following PayPal payment, so you should have received it shortly after you paid through PayPal, but that message often ends up in junk mail folders. Would you mind checking both your junk mail and trash folders? Earlier this afternoon, I noticed that you hadn’t registered your account yet, and I sent you a follow-up email with a new registration link. If you didn’t receive that message either, it is also likely sitting in a junk mail or trash folder. As per the note in the email we sent you on December 16th, we were just waiting to hear back from you after you had a chance to provide the payment to Desafio. Now that you’ve done that, you’re all set! 🙂 We let Desafio Adventure Company know that you provided the payment, and they confirmed payment receipt with us, so we can go ahead and send you your discount voucher for the tour.

Thank you so much for your interest in our discounts! Unfortunately, we aren’t able to accept last-minute requests at this time. 🙁 I wish we could (there are some times during the year when we can make exceptions to the normal 10-day rule), but this week and the next are the two busiest weeks for travel in Costa Rica, and it’s taking longer than usual for most tour operators to arrange tours. This means that we aren’t able to rush our processing since everything (including forum responses–thank you for your patience with us!) is taking longer than usual.
As a side note, I noticed that you purchased our membership already. Is there a different tour discount that you’d like to access for a date that’s not within the next 10 days? If so, great! If not, and you’ll no longer need our membership, just let me know and I’d be happy to refund your purchase.

No problem at all! Our emails have a tendency to end up in junk mail folders because they usually contain links (some email systems mark them as spam). I’m glad you located our email, though! To confirm, we did receive your discount order and had already processed it for January 1st, but I can certainly try to swap this to December 31st as per your follow-up note above. Quick question: Is it still the 9:00am time that you’re interested in for December 31st? With respect to transportation, unfortunately, Sky Adventures is a tour operator that doesn’t provide complimentary transportation with any of their tours. They can provide it for an extra charge ($17.00/person plus tax round-trip). In this case, would you like to include it with your tour or would you prefer to arrange your own transportation to/from Sky Adventures’s Arenal Park?

Yes! Arenal Xilopalo is considered a “La Fortuna hotel” by Desafio Adventure Company, so they don’t charge extra to provide a pick-up and drop-off service at that property.
